textbook [01:11] studied in Gothic lettering and German [01:08]. Roles are firmly established [09:10]; men work in agriculture, mechanics, or as blacksmiths [02:07], while women manage the household, cooking, laundry, and sewing [09:15].

and music are permitted [19:09].
Migration to the Amazon in Peru
Fearing the erosion of their traditional values [19:26], many conservative families choose to relocate [19:38]. Abram, a father of seven [20:06], sells his property and possessions at auction [30:33] to join a group of 53 people across 40 families [22:32, 36:15] moving deep into the Amazon rainforest in Peru [
22:45] to build a new, isolated traditional colony [51:05]. After a long journey by plane, boat, and scooter [37:47, 44:42, 46:40], the settlers begin clearing the dense forest land from scratch [47:33, 50:19] to preserve their austere way of life [51:05].
